Nancy Piscatelli
On July 12, 2024, Dr. Nancy K. Piscatelli, 71, a resident of Guilford, passed away suddenly at St. Vincent Hospital, Bridgeport, in the company of family. She was born in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Thomas G. Piscatelli for 48 years, proud mother of her son, Thomas J. Piscatelli, Esq., his wife, Caroline Briggs, and the “Nana” to her precious granddaughter, Ava Piscatelli of Guilford. She was the treasured sister of Daniel J. Kelley of Quincy, Massachusetts, and daughter of the late Joseph M. Kelley and Eleanor (Jeffers) Kelley. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph “Joey” Kelley and aunt Frances Kelley.
Nancy was a longtime teacher at Boston Public Schools. She earned her B.A. from Bridgewater State, a master’s degree from Boston College, and a doctorate from Northeastern. She was a dedicated union rep and coordinator at Boston Latin School summer program.
Nancy devoted her life to her husband and son. She raised her family in Norfolk, Massachusetts, and lived on Cape Cod for several years after retirement before moving to Guilford to be closer to family. She dearly enjoyed spending time with her family, attending her son’s baseball games, the beach, reading, and hosting “cousins’ cookouts.”
Friends were invited to calling hours on July 18 at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church Street, Guilford. Services followed at Guilford Funeral Home. Burial services will be held privately. Please send flowers to Guilford Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow. To share a memory or leave condolences, visit www.guilfordfuneralhome.com.
