07/11/2024 11:06 AMMarie Carmela Federico Gargano, 92, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024, at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Gargano. Marie was born in New Haven on July 29, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose Audi Federico.
She was blessed with her loving sons, Billy, Larry, Frank, and Michael Jr. and wanted Kim, Kayla, and Frankie to know how much she appreciated all their love and efforts. Nothing made her happier than the grandkids: Michael and Jamie, Ryan, Maria, Justin, Anthony, Frankie, and Kayla. She loved being called Great Grandma by Chelsey, Parker, Elizabeth, and Skylar. She was predeceased by her brother, James Federico, and sister, Sandra Centi.
The visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Chrisitan burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday morning, July 12, in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
