Jane Marinuzzi

Jane T. Marinuzzi, 106, of Clinton, entered into rest peacefully at Apple Rehab Saybrook on June 18, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Nathan Marinuzzi and mother of Rose Celano (spouse Joseph) and Charles Marinuzzi (spouse Sandy). She adored her granddaughters, Renee Cook (spouse David) and Claudia Celano. Her “favorite person” was her great-grandson, Cameron Cook. She was predeceased by her husband, Nathan, daughter Rose, her parents, Steven and Eva Barnick, and all of her siblings: Helen, Joseph, Mary, Stella, Walter, and Chester. Jane is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Jane’s “second” family was the amazing staff of Apple Rehab Saybrook, who brought her much joy and laughter over the years. Jane loved people, music, cooking (especially her famous apple pie), and was the bingo queen of Apple Saybrook. She was a very vivacious and caring person with an amazing sense of humor who inspired all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

There will be a private service, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Apple Rehab Saybrook Rec Dept., 1775 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
