Louise Murphy Mullen

Louise Murphy Mullen of Branford died unexpectedly at her home on June 6, 2024. She was the wife of the late John P. Mullen. Louise was born in Springvale, Maine, on Nov. 23, 1951, daughter of the late Arthur K. and Annette L’Esperance Murphy. She worked as a Home Health Aide for Yale Home Health (formerly Shoreline VNA).

Louise enjoyed reading, crafting, traveling, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Louise is survived by her children, Shawn (Kim Hanson) Mullen of Clinton and Kathleen (Michael) Burwell of West Haven; her grandchildren, John and Charles Mullen; her sister Linda Duley of Shelton; and her brother Arthur Murphy of Clearwater, Florida. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harry and Robert Murphy, and her sister, Anita Murphy.

Her funeral left the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home on June 12 for a Mass of Chrisitan burial in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford.
