Robert and Mary (Roehl) Stimpson of New Haven passed away separately in South Carolina. Mary (Roehl) Stimpson passed away on Oct. 6, 2019, and Robert Stimpson on April 6, 2024. They are survived by their two sons, Robert Stimpson Jr. (Cynthia) of Madison and Ronald Stimpson (Yvonne) of Summerville, South Carolina, along with four grandchildren: Seamus Stimpson, Padraic Stimpson (Ashley), Sebastian Stimpson, and Tiffany Miller (Joseph); and four great-grandchildren. Robert is survived by his sister Lucille Mahon of Hamden, and Mary is survived by her sister Christine Johnson of North Haven and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 9 Eld Street, New Haven. Please go directly to the church, with committal/burial to follow with U.S. Navy Military Honors at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
