Marjorie Decker

Marjorie L. Brandt Decker, 98, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael Campus. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Decker Sr. Marjorie was born in New Haven on May 8, 1925, and was the daughter of the late John and Beatrice Lafo Brandt.

Marjorie enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and taking frequent trips to the casino. She was the mother of Barbara A. Decker and Robert E. Decker Jr.; grandmother of Rachel Decker (Stephen Godfrey), Joseph Decker (Jessica), Rocco Decker, and the late Robert E. Decker III. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Christina Malerba Decker; a brother, John Brandt Jr.; and a sister, Madelyn Pavia.

The visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 26, at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, April 27, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. www.northhavenfuneral.com.
