Carol Lindsay
Carol Esposito Lindsay, 80, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael Campus with her family by her side. She was the wife of Albert Lindsay. Carol was born in New Haven on Aug.15, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Domenic and Nancy Cucarello Esposito.
A school bus driver since 1975, Carol worked for First Student for many years and later for M & B until her retirement. She enjoyed frequent trips to the casino, was a dog lover, was an active parishioner of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish, where she served as a Eucharistic minister, taught catechism, was a member of the St. Barnabas Ladies Guild, and was the recipient of the St. Joseph Medal.
She was the mother of Elisa Ann Biase, Vincent (Myra) Pastore, and Crystal (Dan) Macauley; sister of Nick (Carrie) Esposito, Rocky (Patty) Esposito, Dawn DeLieto, Joanne Esposito, and the late Domenic “June Bug” Esposito and Rose Brokelschen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and her beloved dog, Bradley. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Pastore.
The visiting hours were on April 21 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on April 22 in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Interment followed in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
