Tracey Leslie LeBlanc

Tracey Leslie LeBlanc, 61, a longtime resident of Guilford and most recently of Old Saybrook, passed away at her home on Feb. 25, 2024. Tracey was the loving wife to her husband, David LeBlanc. Tracey was born in New Haven on Oct. 11, 1962, the daughter of the late Roger Nelson Leslie and Mary Llynne (Tykol) Leslie. Tracey was the devoted mother of Tessa LeBlanc (fiancé Paul DeSantis), Richard LeBlanc (Lindsay), Nicole LeBlanc (fiancé Anthony Aniello), David LeBlanc (Brynna), and proud grandmother to her granddaughters Audrey, Quinn, Emersyn, and Aurora. In addition to her husband, Tracey is survived by her brothers, Chris (Susan), Todd, and Gregg (Shannon), brother-in-law Doug LeBlanc (Laura), as well as several nieces and nephews including William, Megan, Maxwell, Connor, Stephen, Cameryn, and Brynn.

Tracey attended Guilford High School and graduated from Branford Hall Career Institute in 1983. Tracey was employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services for 35 years, where she made substantial contributions to the many clients’ lives she worked with over the years.

Tracey was an avid reader and loved to spend as much time as she could with a good book on a sunny beach. Since retiring, Tracey took much pride in her garden and spent hours planning and organizing her annual planting projects. Tracey’s dining room table was always covered with arts and crafts, and she was always looking for her next painting project.

Tracey had a large circle of lifelong friends and was known for her contagious laugh and her adventurous spirit. Everyone around Tracey was keenly aware that they could count on her for anything, and she always had a smile and kind words for those she loved.

Friends are invited to calling hours from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, with a prayer service from 3 to 3:30 p.m. at Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church Street, Guilford. A celebration of Tracey’s life will be held immediately following at the Westbrook Elks Club, 142 Seaside Avenue, Westbrook. To share a memory or leave condolences, visit www.guilfordfuneralhome.com
