02/22/2024 10:38 AMVicki G. Denaro of Branford died on Feb. 13, 2024. She was the wife of the late Robert Denaro. Vicki was born in Yonkers, New York, on Dec. 7, 1953, a daughter of the late Frederick and Rosemarie Dunne Tiedeman.
Vicki lived for her family. She had a beautiful and loving marriage to her late husband for over 40 years. She was a constant caregiver with unquestionable generosity with her caring and support. Her sons were the most important thing to her. Every choice and sacrifice she made was to ensure their betterment and wellness.
She worked as a salesperson for building supplies for many years until retiring. She did this for the love of working with her hands. In a male-driven industry, she not only made her mark but gained respect from her peers, not only with her skill and knowledge but also with her tenacity and strong will. She loved all music, but especially country music and Elvis Presley.
Vicki is survived by her sons, Steven Denaro (Lyndsay O’Neill) of Branford and Charles Denaro of Branford; her sister Veronica (Tom) Molloy (niece and nephew Erica and Tommy as well as Carey Tiedeman) of Wallingford; as well as her aunt and uncle, Connie and Eddie Sasso of Wallingford. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Denaro, and her brothers, Craig and Bruce Tiedeman.
Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Following the services, friends and family will gather at Tommy Sullivans for food and drinks to celebrate a life well lived (11:30 a.m.). For directions and an online memorial, see www.wsclancy.com.
