Dawn Riccitelli

Dawn Riccitelli, 56, of East Haven, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024. She was born May 31, 1967, in New Haven to the late George and Judith (Young) Riccitelli.

Dawn is survived by her two loving children, Amber Cowell (Brian) of Wallingford and Aaron Jones of East Haven, and a grandson, Cody Cowell. She is also survived by her fiancé Thomas Volturno of East Haven and her siblings, Donna Riccitelli of New Haven, Diane Riccitelli of Branford, and Georgeann Riccitelli of East Haven. In addition, Dawn is survived by her special nephew and niece whom she considered “her children,” Theodore Lipp III and Randee “Buttercup” Chobian.

Dawn enjoyed long rides on the Harley, crocheting, swimming, loud music, a good drink (Jack Honey), and spending as much time as possible with the ones she loved. She made sure everyone was always taken care of, and her family and kids were her world. Dawn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all.

All services will be private and under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
