Edward Charles Festa

Edward Charles Festa, “Ed/Eddie,” a long-time resident of Guilford, passed away on Nov. 10, 2023, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s. He was 90 years old.

He is survived by his children, David (Sue) and Sharon (Louis Secki); his sister Norma Albee; and several generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Elaine, and his parents, Edward and Mary (McCarty).

Ed owned Four Corners Service Station in North Guilford and worked until March of 2020. His smile, sense of humor, and wit were as legendary as the financial advice he dispensed freely. When not working, he could be found on the golf course.

His family is so grateful to the team of caregivers that kept his light shining as long as possible: Cathy, Gayle, Heidi, Kathleen, Lori, Martha, Nancy, and Sandra.

Arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
