Donna Fenn

On Dec. 4, 2023, Donna Marie (Russo) Fenn, 68, a longtime resident of Guilford and most recently of Branford, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of David G. Fenn Sr. Mrs. Fenn was born in Middletown on April 17, 1955, the daughter of the late Pasquale Russo and Dorothy (Willard) Russo. She was the loving mother of Heather Fenn of Norwich, David Fenn Jr. of Branford, and Jaimie Fenn of Branford; nine grandchildren also survive her. She was the sister of Linda Zink of New Mexico, MSG Pasquale James Russo, USA (Ret) of Georgia, Brig. Gen. Mark Russo USA (Ret) of Guilford, Michael Russo of Florida, Martha Russo of Guilford, and Matthew Russo of Killingworth.

Donna is a graduate of Guilford High School. She graduated from Stone Academy as a Certified Medical Assistant at the top of her class. Throughout her career, she worked for several different medical practices. Her caring nature extended beyond her occupation into her personal life.

She enjoyed going to the beach with her family and spending time at Guilford Lakes with her friends. She was the glue that held the family together. She loved her parents fiercely and took care of them for years before their death. Her generosity was unmatched, and she was loved by everyone that knew her. Her impact on the countless lives of her loved ones is both admirable and astounding.

Friends are invited to calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church Street, Guilford. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at First Congregational Church, 100 Broad Street, Guilford. Burial services will be held privately.
