11/30/2023 07:19 AMLinda W. Clark, 79, of Ivoryton, died unexpectedly Nov. 21, 2023. Linda was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Doyle) Wharton.
Linda was born and raised in the Connecticut shoreline area graduating from Valley Regional High School. She was a devoted employee of Pat’s Country Kitchen working as a waitress for years. Linda worked at the Brian House in Chester before retiring. Some of her interests included cooking, baking, and gardening. She was also a member of the Essex Veterans Memorial Hall of Centerbrook.
Linda is survived by her son Gary Clark (Kim), life partner Paul Harrington, and grandson Benjamin G. Clark IV. She was predeceased by her husband Benjamin G. “Dude” Clark Jr. and her son Benjamin G. “BJ” Clark III.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 2, 2023, at the Essex Veterans Memorial Hall, 3 Westbrook Road, Centerbrook, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Essex Veterans Memorial Hall. To leave a condolence or to share a memory, visit www.rwwfh.com.
