Frances L. Ianotti Pesticci


Frances L. Ianotti Pesticci, 99, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Oct. 16 at the Regency House, Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert V. Pesticci. Frances was born in New Haven on July 17, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie Ianotti.

Frances enjoyed cooking, swimming, sewing, singing (She sang with the UFO.), and watching UConn women’s basketball. She was a past president of the Jolly Timers. Frances was a loving, caring person who lived for her family and friends.

She was the mother of Albert F. Pesticci, Donna (Roy) Chappell, Mark (Jacquelyn) Pesticci, and Joseph (Liliana) Pesticci; grandmother of Matthew (Kara) Morcus, Sara and Anna Pesticci; great-grandmother of Annabella and Dominic Morcus; sister of Rose DeMarco, Ann Bogart and the late Charles Ianotti, Raye Bradley, Helen Brown, and Josephine Parillo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Frances’s caregivers, Linda Burr and Louisa Widdows, for the excellent comfort and care they provided.

The visiting hours from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. will be Friday morning, Oct. 20, at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
