09/07/2023 02:13 PMLynsey M. (Propeck) Eno, 44, of Westbrook, beloved wife of Jackson “Jay” F. Eno Jr., passed away on Aug. 30 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Timothy J. Propeck and Susan (Nichols) Propeck of Port Ludlow, Washington.
Lynsey earned a B.S. from Simmons College in Boston, an M.A. in health informatics from UMass Lowell, and an MEd from UMass Boston in school psychology. She loved her work as a guidance counselor at Killingly High School. Lynsey and Jay were married in 2010 and lived in Westbrook for 12 years. Lynsey was driven to excel in all she did, including running the New York, Hartford, and Chicago marathons and surfing at Narragansett, Rhode Island, and Santa Cruz, California. She was committed to supporting the breast cancer community and participated in numerous Closer to Free rides and the annual After the Storm Art Bra show to raise awareness and help fund breast cancer research. Lynsey loved baking and cooking and was selfless and compassionate, but most of all, she was a devoted wife and mother to her husband, Jay, and her sons, Jackson J. Eno and Isaiah P. Eno. Besides her mother, husband, and sons, she leaves a sister, Kristin Wall, of Seattle; a nephew, Mason Wall; many extended relatives from the Eno and Propeck families; and countless devoted friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at the Westbrook Congregational Church, 1166 Boston Post Road, Westbrook. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family in Simsbury Cemetery, Simsbury. Her family requests donations be made to the Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries in her memory.
