Adeline Murphy Cavalier
Adeline “Sis” Murphy Cavalier, 83, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Aug. 31 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Anthony Cavalier. Adeline was born in New Haven on May 17, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Dourcher Murphy.
She had worked for the Town of North Haven Park and Recreation Department for many years and was an Amateur Softball Association (ASA) umpire for over 50 years. She enjoyed working in her beautiful flower gardens and had a fondness for her beloved Yorkshire terriers.
She was the mother of Anthony Cavalier and the late Anita Cavalier, and grandmother of Dominic Borrelli. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Murphy.
The visiting hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
