05/11/2023 02:17 PMOn Jan. 7, June (Housecamp) Thomas, 96, a longtime resident of Guilford and most recently of The Hearth at Tuxis Pond in Madison, passed away at the Hearth surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Roger Harned Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was born in Passaic, New Jersey, on April 29, 1926, the daughter of the late Albert and Martha Housecamp. Loving mother of Bruce Thomas of Houston, TX (wife Jane) and Cynthia Thomas of Jamestown, RI. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Adele Burke of Exeter, New Hampshire.
Before retirement, she worked in the libraries of the Guilford Public School system for many years.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, and going on trips with Roger to used bookstores.
Burial services will be held privately.
