04/14/2023 11:02 AMLinda Yasevac Wilson of Guilford passed away peacefully April 6 at her home. She was the beloved wife of George A. Wilson III. Linda was born in New Haven on Jan. 18, 1948, the daughter of the late Anthony and Elaine Bedard Yasevac.
She was a graduate of Branford High School, Class of 1966, and was a majorette. Linda attended Quinnipiac College and eventually received her finance degree from Albertus Magnus College. Linda was the financial manager for the Wilson Arms Company for many years until retiring and was a co-owner of the Meadow Restaurant (The Eel Pot) in Branford. Linda enjoyed sailing, kayaking, traveling, and gardening, among her many hobbies.
Besides George, Linda is survived by her brothers, Anthony (Teresa) Yasevac and Michael Yasevac, both of Branford; beloved niece Corrine Yasevac (Matthew); beloved nephew Geoffrey Yasevac (Gabby); aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and her dear friends: Rita, Barbie, Mary Ellen, and Rhonda. Special thanks to her nurses and aides, Lynn, Donna, and Ada.
