01/12/2023 08:47 AMJune P. Trocchio, 63, of Madison passed away Jan. 4. She was born March 17, 1959, daughter of the late Chester and Jeanne Roczynski.
June is survived by her husband and best friend, Michael J. Trocchio, Sr. of Madison; her son Michael J. Trocchio, Jr. of Wallingford; her two grandchildren, Jorja and Vincent; her sisters, Paulette Wedmore of New South Wales, Australia, Ellen Main of Hampton; and her brother Paul Roczynski. She is also survived by her niece and God daughter, Sarah Visconti as well as several other nieces and nephews. June was also predeceased by her sister Irene Smith.
June was a lover of animals and nature and loved spending time outdoors, especially with her family. She also greatly enjoyed drawing, wood burning and word games. During her teen years, June could often be found on horseback or driving around the Connecticut shoreline with her goat in the backseat of her car. She was known for her witty, often sarcastic sense of humor. June battled multiple sclerosis for many years of her life and more recently breast cancer.
Donations in June’s honor can be made to the Humane Society of Connecticut.
A celebration of June’s life for her friends and family who wish to attend, will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at her and Michael Sr’s residence at 34 Hickory Lane, Madison. No tears! Oak Grove Cremation Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
