Karen L. Camp
Karen L. Camp of Branford died Dec. 17 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. Karen was born in New Haven, Aug. 7, 1943, daughter of the late John and Charlotte Page Camp.
She worked at Yale-New Haven Hospital from 1964 until retiring in 2006, starting as a Registered Nurse, then as Nurse Manager for the surgical intensive care unit, and finally retiring as the Administrative Director of Patient Services. She graduated from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1964, then received her bachelor of science in nursing in 1987, from Quinnipiac College and received her Executive MBA from the University of New Haven in 1989.
Karen is survived by her sister Burdeen Camp of Branford; and many friends.
Visiting hour will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Burial will be private.
