11/16/2022 03:45 PMBeverly “Lee” A. (O’Connor) Williams, 90, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Nov. 11 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late Thomas A. Williams Sr. Beverly was born in New Haven on May 6, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Madelyn Maher O’Connor. She was predeceased by her sister Madelyn Jalbert.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from UConn and was a passionate UConn men’s basketball fan. Beverly worked as an administrative assistant for Yale University’s Graduate Housing Department until her retirement.
Beverly enjoyed traveling, socializing with friends, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She was loving mother of daughter Susan and her husband Julian Huang of Duxbury, Massachusetts; and son Thomas and his wife Martha Williams of Glastonbury. She unconditionally loved her six grandchildren: Matthew, Kevin, Griffin and Ryan Huang, Jack and Colin Williams.
Visiting hours were from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at the Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Family and friends were invited to proceed directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 57 Pond Hill Road, North Haven, at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, Nov. 19, to attend a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was private in All Saints Cemetery.
