11/04/2022 10:42 AMJoyce A. Willet Rotondo, 75, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Oct. 31 at the Regency House, Wallingford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Louis E. Rotondo, Jr. Joyce was born in Waterbury on March 10, 1947, the daughter of Janice Lombard Woodfield and the late John Willet.
A graduate of Naugatuck High School, she later attended and graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Waterbury becoming a Registered Nurse. Joyce had worked at Yale New Haven Hospital for 45 years and oversaw the dialysis unit for many years. Devoted to her family, her grandchildren were her everything and she loved them all unconditionally.
Mother of Louis E. Rotondo III (Tina) and Christopher Rotondo (Kimberly); grandmother of Michael, Ava, Sofia, Kathryn, and Aaryn; sister of Randy Woodfield (Annette) and the late Harold Woodfield, Jr. Predeceased by her stepfather Harold Woodfield, Sr.
The visiting hours will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
