Edward “Ed” Murphy, 90, of Old Saybrook and Niantic, passed away on Feb. 10. Ed was a veteran of the Korean War, and then had a long career with SNET.

He was predeceased by his wife Kate Murphy. He is survived by his three sons, Ray (Sylvie), Jack, and Stephen, and his longtime companion Mary McClure. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Max, Matt, Raeann, and Taryn.
