01/31/2022 11:00 PMBarbara (Butler) Kruglik, 89, of North Haven, beloved wife of 57 years to the late Frank Kruglik, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28 with her loving family by her side. Born in New Haven on Sept. 9, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Horn) Butler.
Barbara was a secretary for the North Haven Public School system, where she worked for 37 years until she retired in 2011. She belonged to the St. Barnabas Women’s Club and loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Cape Cod.
She was a loving mother to Debbie (Carla) Kruglik, Kathleen (Andy) Giordano and Peter (Gina) Kruglik; grandmother of Mick (Analee) Giordano, Kristen (Michael), Christopher (Jason), Kyle (Jessica), Brian, and Kaitlyn (Ryan) Kruglik; and sister of Elaine (Butler) Hoye of California.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring and loving staff at The Linden and Connecticut Hospice. Additionally, the family would like to thank Lisa Jo and all of the other ladies for the compassion and loving care that mom received from them.
The visiting hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Funeral and burial services will be privately held in All Saints Cemetery.
