Linda Evers Mislow, 70, of North Haven passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 3 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Murphy. Linda was born in New Haven on May 14, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Harry J. Evers and Harriet King Sandella.
A graduate of Eli Whitney Technical School, Linda was a licensed practical nurse, having worked at the former Winthrop Continuing Care Center, Montowese Health & Rehabilitation, and the Arden House. Linda took care of her family and friends and loved them all unconditionally. She enjoyed going to the beach.
She was the mother of Heather Bernardi and her husband Mike, grandmother of Joclyn and Frank Rivera, and aunt of Lisa Stewart and Amanda Evers. She was predeceased by her stepfather Albert L. Sandella, sisters,Donna Evers Polino and Elizabeth Evers, and a brother, Harry Evers.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
