She grew up in the Spring Glen section of Hamden prior to moving with her family to Northford as a young teen. Progressive in thought, loyal and trusted friend, quick witted, pragmatic, giver of sage advice and wisdom, most importantly she loved unconditionally her family and friends.

Schanz and Valerie L. Schanz, granddaughter Crystal J. Schanz, great-granddaughter Isabella A. Schanz, and great-grandson Dustin N. Cecarelli, all of Northford, as well as her sister-in-law Joanne O’Neill, niece Shari Haskins of Bellingham, Washington, and her nephews John and Richard O’Neill of Florida.
As per June’s request, there will be no visiting hours; burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her honor to the North Branford Libraries.
