Roma Joy (Frewin) Chase, 91, of Madison passed away peacefully on July 18 at the Comfort Care Unit at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Warren, Maine, on March 12, 1930, to the late Douglas and Eunice (Peterson) Frewin.
Roma graduated from Portland High School of Portland, Maine. She lived in Maine, New Hampshire, Arizona, and Florida with her husband before moving to Madison. She worked in the medical field (nursing). She was joyful, kind, loving, and outgoing. She liked entertaining with her friends and family and dearly loved her cats. She cherished her grandchildren “the girls” Hayley and Kelly and will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by her husband Everett Chase, Jr., and her brother Douglas Frewin.
She is survived by her sister Lynda F. Bakr and her husband Mohamed, her son Arthur P. Fredriksen, her daughter Debra Curran, and her stepson Ronald Chase. She also leaves her granddaughters Hayley Acevedo and her husband Pedro and Kelly Foley and her husband Daniel, her great grandson Jace Acevedo, her beloved nieces and nephews and their children, and her best friend Mona.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined.
