She formerly worked at the MIF in Branford before becoming a devoted and loving mother, homemaker, and gardener. She could often be found tending to her many flower and vegetable gardens at her home. She was a devout member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Branford and had an unshakable faith.
She is survived by her daughters, to whom she was the finest example of unconditional love, Sonja Kornienko of Branford and Susanna (Albert) DeDomizio of Vero Beach, Florida; her grandson, Peter MacDonald; and many nieces and nephews in Germany. She was predeceased by her six siblings, all of Germany.
