On Dec. 22, 2020, Philomina Mancini, a lifetime resident of Guilford, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital.

She was the wife of the late John Mancini. Philomina was born in Guilford July 10, 1923, daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela (Verrechia) Mancini. She was the loving aunt of Linda Swan and her husband Carl of Guilford and great-aunt of Carl H. Swan and Carol Ann Swan, both of Guilford. She is also survived by a large extended family of nieces and nephews and her sister Josephine Fessel. She was predeceased by her brothers Philip, Louis, Millio, and Nicholas Mancini and her sisters Mary DaRos and Rachel Kwasnik.

Before retirement, Philomina had worked as a seamstress and at Flexible Tubing Company. She enjoyed coloring, gardening, bird watching and spending time with family.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Dec. 28 at St. George Church, Guilford, followed by burial in St. George Cemetery, Guilford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or www.kidney.org.
