Sheldon H. Andrews (Andy) of Guilford, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 26. He is survived by his beloved wife for 55 years, Doris, his sons Michael and Thomas, and daughter-in-law Dawn Andrews. He also leaves grandchildren Alyssa Andrews, Nicole Andrews, Michael Andrews, Thomas Andrews, Holly Andrews, Rebecca Baker, Russell Baker, and Jane Kaeser and her husband Craig; and great-grandson John Kaeser.

Sheldon had a love for his grandchildren, Vermont, and Maine.

Before his retirement Sheldon was custodian at the Guilford Free Library. He previously owned his own landscaping business, S&N Landscaping. He also was employed by Bradley & Upson Construction and Empire Paving years ago.

At Sheldon’s request, there will be no services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s for Children.
