Ronald A. Bruno, 79, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Oct. 10 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Iolanda DiMeo Bruno. Ronald was born in New Haven on June 25, 1939 and was the son of the late Edmund and Mollie Teta Bruno.

He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years until his retirement. Ronald enjoyed frequent trips to the casino, traveling, watching movies, and especially dining out. He also was a big animal lover especially his neighbor’s dog Cajun. He is survived by his children Donna Bruno and Cathy (Frank) Fusco.

His funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home on Oct. 15 for a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church. Interment followed in the All Saints Mausoleum. For his online obituary, visit www.northhavenfuneral.com.
