Louis Sidera III, 59, husband to Darianne (Gregan) Sidera of Northford, entered eternal rest on Aug. 26 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, with the love of his family by his side. Louis was born in New Haven on Aug. 1, 1959, to his parents Louis and Marie (Fiore) Sidera, Jr.
Louis grew up in his hometown of Northford, where he made lifelong friendships and left an impact on everyone he met. He went on to serve in the US Marine Corps right after graduating from North Branford High School. Later, Louis went on to earn his bachelor and doctoral degrees from Albertus Magnus College and Quinnipiac University School of Law, magna cum laude.
Family and friends were Louis’ biggest priority and he found no greater joy than having everyone together. This extended beyond to his workplace and family at UBS. His passions included watching football, yard work, and listening to the Yankees on the radio.
Louis leaves behind his high school sweetheart Darianne Sidera of Northford; and their three children, Emylee Sidera of East Haven, Tessa (Sidera) Sledge (Thomas) of Seattle, Washington, and Louis Sidera IV of Northford. He is also survived by his mother Marie Sidera of East Haven; sister Terese Sidera (Ted) of East Haven; and brother Anthony Sidera (Stacey) of Simsbury. Louis leaves behind seven nephews and his lifelong best friends David Ford of Norwood, Massachusetts, John Hardy of Madison, and Terry McKenna of Morrisville, Vermont.
