Lauren C. Toothe, 24, of East Haven died on Good Friday, April 14 at her home. She was born in New Haven on Aug. 19, 1992, to Ronald C. Toothe of East Haven and the late Margaret “Maggie” Wrzensinski.
Lauren recently worked in the Internet Sales Department of Branhaven Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep of Branford. She was a graduate of East Haven High School, Class of 2010. She loved to play volleyball, softball, and basketball, and was very involved with the Best Buddies and Unified Sports.
Besides her father, she is survived by her two brothers, her twin Ronald “RJ” Toothe of East Haven and Tyler Wilson of San Leandro, California; her fiancé Kurt Juergens of East Haven; and her maternal grandmother Laura Blake Wrzensinski of East Haven. She is also survived by her aunt and uncle Michael and Susan Dowd of East Haven; aunt and uncle Donna and Donald Toothe of Boca Raton Florida; and aunt Ellen Toothe-Gadevaia of Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Lauren was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Ernest and Beatrice Hoffman Toothe, uncle Nelson Toothe, and her maternal grandfather Donald Wrzensinski.
Friends and family were invited to go directly to St. Clare Church on April 21 for a funeral Mass, followed by a funeral procession to All Saints Cemetery, North Haven, for burial. Friends called on April 20. The East Haven Memorial Longobardi–Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708, was in charge of arrangements.
