Frances M. Ferraguto, 94

Westbrook and Arlington, Virginia

Frances M. Ferraguto, “Fran,” 94, a devoted wife and mother, passed away Dec. 20 in Arlington, Virginia, surrounded by loving family members. Fran Ferraguto was born in Middletown and settled in Westbrook in 1970.

Fran was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Ferraguto, as well as her sister Regina Geary and brother Patrick Green. She is survived by her sons Michael J. Ferraguto, Jr., of Alexandria, Virginia, and Richard P. Ferraguto of Hickory, North Carolina; her daughters Susan Handy (husband Jim) of Leesburg, Florida, and Ann Ferraguto (husband Clive Lowe) of Arlington, Virginia; grandchildren Laura Ferraguto, Katherine Ferraguto, Michael J. Ferraguto III, Thomas Ferraguto, Christopher Ferraguto, Austin LaPierre, Amelia Lowe, and Dominic Lowe; as well as numerous adored nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held March 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Swan Funeral Home in Old Saybrook.
