David Ewing of New Haven died Nov. 10 at the St. Raphael Campus, YNHH. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Begley Ewing. Mr. Ewing was born Oct. 27, 1956, in Boston, Massachusetts, son of the late Joseph and Florence Hewitt Ewing.
He was the owner of the Shoreline Center for Family Counseling in Branford.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children Kayla Florence Ewing, Ryan David Ewing, and Marilyn Lore Ewing, all of New Haven; his sisters Carol Gaglio of Norton, Massachusetts, Judy Fitzpatrick of Troy, Maine, Nancy McGarty of Dover, New Hampshire, Valerie Hansen of Florida, Terry Wirkerman of Stoughton, Massachusetts, and Linda Fleming of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Ewing.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service Nov. 16 at 9:00 a.m. in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven, and may call Nov. 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 N.
