Florence May “June” Cunningham, 91, a longtime resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully and privately at home on Sept. 17. “June” as she was known by most was born in Deptford, London, England, on Sept. 20, 1925, to Anne Evaline and Percy Tucker. She was the youngest of four children.
Her modesty, selfless care, love, and respect for fellow man, woman, and child was built on a deep faith in God, humanity, education, and the “Art Of Generosity,” all values she passed along to her family and the other lives she touched. She left behind a beautiful legacy undiminished. She was loved and will be missed.
