07/27/2016 12:00 AMBarbara Gramm Bisacky, 85, of Northford, passed away peacefully on July 26 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert S. Bisacky. Barbara was born in New Haven on April 25, 1931, daughter of the late Walter and Katherine Rukla Gramm.
She worked as a claims adjuster for Nationwide Insurance Company until her retirement, and enjoyed her gardens, cooking, knitting, and keeping up with current events.
She was the mother of Susan Bisacky (Dryzgula) Sandar, Carole Bisacky Grady, and Albert George Bisacky and his wife Patricia Pandiani Bisacky. She was the grandmother of Robert Albert Dryzgula, Christine Susan Dryzgula, Daniel Robert Dryzgula, Rachel (Marcos) Bisacky Gonzalez, and Lauren (Travis) Bisacky Collins; and the great-grandmother of Jack Robert Mathis. She is also survived by her former son-in-law Robert E. Dryzgula, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Thomas F. Grady, and her sister Jeanne Bergus.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., July 30 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Augustine’s Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
