Donna L. Lagueux passed away peacefully on June 3 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was born on Aug. 18, 1944, in New Haven. She was the third of five daughters born to Josephine Giordano Brennan and Arthur E. Caley, Jr.
She grew up in North Branford but later married and moved to Guilford to raise her own family. Donna most recently resided in East Haven.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her eldest sister Gloria Bimonte and husband Frank “Bull” Bimonte, and brothers-in-law James Vanaman and Donald Hass. She leaves behind loving sisters Geraldine Vanaman, Angela Hass, and Valerie (and husband Vincent) Zurolo, all of Connecticut, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Donna is survived by her children Debra (Lagueux) Disciglio of Clinton; David and Susan (Conti) Lagueux of Salisbury, Maryland; and Darcy (Lagueux) and Nathaniel Neville of Tennessee. She was “Nana” to Rachel and Olivia Benton, David and Charlie Lagueux, and Robert Vitello. Donna was so blessed to have lifelong friend Sally Costello and caregiver and friend Donna Whalen in addition to family at her side.
