Francesca DiSiervi of Madison passed away peacefully May 26. She was the wife of the late John DiSiervi. Francesca was born in Miami Beach, Florida, on Nov. 9, 1926, daughter of the late A. Carl von Sternberg and Mildred Collins Lee.

Francesca graduated from Daniel Hand High School in 1945 and had a lifelong love of the Madison beaches and Long Island Sound. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family, playing Mah Jongg, and lunch dates with her friends. She was member of the DAR-Jordan Freeman Chapter and the Madison Senior Center.

She was the beloved mother of Patricia Buonocore and her husband Ralph of Madison with whom she resided, and the late Susan Condon and son-in-law Thomas of Brookfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jessica and Kristen Condon, and Paige, Brooke, and Alexander Buonocore; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, A. Carl von Sternberg.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on June 1 in St. Margaret Church, 29 Academy St., Madison. Friends called May 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford.
