Wayne L. St. Germaine, 69, of East Haven passed away Jan. 24. He was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Berlin, New Hampshire, to Walter and Doris (Nichols) St. Germaine.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother John St. Germaine (2013); and his sister Cheryl Gagne. Wayne is survived by his sister-in-law Doreen St. Germaine of East Haven; his sister Doreen Blake; and his brother Paul Boudreau.

Wayne’s favorite pastime was spending his weekends at the Redwood Flea Market in Wallingford or the Elephant’s Trunk in New Milford. He was referred to as “Uncle Jokester” by his nieces and nephew, who shared a special bond with him. Wayne’s older brother’s family was his family. He was kind, easy going, and he had a big heart. He was a great help to his brother and sister-in-law. He will be sorely missed.
