Anthony M. Marinuzzi, 58, a lifelong resident of North Haven, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Dec. 9 after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was the loving husband of Gail Ceneri Marinuzzi. Anthony was born in New Haven on Jan. 21, 1957, son of the late Carlo and Madelyn DeSenti Marinuzzi.
Anthony was a talented artist and graphic designer and worked for Brody Printing Company for several years. The family would especially like to thank the nursing staff of the 7th floor of the Smilow Cancer Hospital for their wonderful care and support throughout his illness.
He was the father of Anthony M. Marinuzzi Jr. (Cariann) and Michael Marinuzzi. He was the brother of Carl Marinuzzi, Donna Slattery (Bob), Madelyn Sola (Michael), Elizabeth Mitchell (Tom), and Paul Marinuzzi (Ann). He is also survived by the light of his life, his granddaughter Madison, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Dec. 12 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Dec. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
