Edith “Dolly” Lucibello Andersen, 95, of Hamden, formerly of Roberta Road, North Haven, passed away peacefully on Nov. 11 at Benchmark Senior Living. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank “Bud” Andersen. Dolly was born in New Haven on April 20, 1920, daughter of the late Andrew and Angelina Nicolella Lucibello.
She was a resident of North Haven since 1955, worked as a bookkeeper for Eastern States Farmers Exchange, and was a founding member of Temple Sweethearts.
She was the mother of Roger T. Andersen and Wayne P. (Donna) Andersen. She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Heather Andersen; sisters Antoinette Lincoln, Amelia Marvin, and Loretta Piscitelli; and brothers Anthony and Andrew Lucibello.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., on Nov. 17 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery.
