Susan (Howard) Kristoff, 53, of Wallingford, formerly of East Haven, passed away Oct. 12 at home. She was born Nov. 29, 1961 in New Haven to Robert and Agnes (Flynn) Howard. She is preceded in death by parents and brother, Robert Howard. Susan is survived by two loving daughters with whom she lived, Jessica Kristoff and Megan Kristoff; a sister, Lisa Gargiulo (Michael) of East Haven; and a brother, Kevin Howard (Maria) of East Haven. Susan is also survived by nephews Michael Gargiulo, Brandon Gargiulo, Christopher Gargiulo, Kevin Howard, Jr., and Ryan Howard; nieces Christine Howard and Melissa Morra (Nunzio); a very special great-niece, Lana Khamphouy; and a sister-in-law, Alice (Selbe) Howard.

Susan loved to do many activities with her daughters, especially visiting the Big E. She touched many lives with her smile and generosity. Besides the love for her children and family, she had a huge passion for teaching children. Susan had an associate degree in early childhood education and was nominated into the Who’s Who book. She will truly be missed by many.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Avenue, East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 16 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Route 80, East Haven, with committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
