08/06/2015 12:00 AMKyle John Hartmann, born July 23, 1994, died suddenly on Aug. 1 in Guilford.
Kyle attended Guilford schools and graduated from Guilford High School in 2013. Kyle worked at Jerry’s Transmission, where he was a well-respected mechanic and team member. As a volunteer for the Smiles for Life Program and A Cure for Life through Yale-New Haven Hospital, Kyle made positive changes for others.
Kyle is survived by his loving parents Michael and Diane Hartmann, his adoring brother Kevin, and his grandparents Robert and Eleanor Hartmann, and was predeceased by grandparents Jack and Edna Johnston. He was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
An especially good and loyal friend, Kyle had a gift for creating an individual relationship with each and every person that he knew. His greatest pleasure was making other people smile. A solid hard work ethic mixed with a mischievous spirit and wry sense of humor made Kyle a favorite with teachers, peers, co-workers, and all who met him. Kyle was a pure spirit, who knew what he liked, and told things the way that they were. Kyle lived a happy life, was loved by all, and was always surrounded by family and friends. He made a lasting impact on everyone he touched.
We will always love you Kyle.
