01/07/2015 11:00 PMRaffie Pisacano Perrelli, 89, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Jan. 7 at the Branford Hills Health Care Center. Raffie was born on Aug. 21, 1925, in New Haven, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Consalata Belaeff Pisacano.
She enjoyed playing bingo.
She was the mother of the late Constance “Connie” Viglione; the mother-in-law of Stephen J. Viglione; the grandmother of Lisa and Mark Viglione and Dominic (Jennifer) Viglione; and the great-grandmother of Massimo (Cassandra) Piroli, Stephanie, Christopher, Nicole, and Daniel Piroli, and Dominic Stephen Viglione. She was also the great-great grandmother of Aiden Piroli; the sister of Ann Notarino, Angelina Iannucci, and the late Gaetano Pisacano, Annette Suprenant, and Lucille Lawrence.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff of the Branford Hills Health Care Center for all the comfort and care they provided to Raffie.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven, on Jan. 10 at 10:30 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian burial, and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Connecticut Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Hwy., Ste. 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067, or the American Diabetes Association, 2nd Flr., 2080 Silas Deane Hwy., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
