11/13/2014 11:00 PMMaura J. Giaimo, 91, a resident of North Haven for many years, passed Nov. 11. Born May 23, 1923, in North Haven, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pauline Giacone Giaimo.
She was predeceased by her siblings Mary and Nicholas Giaimo and several cousins, including U.S. Representative Robert N. Giaimo (D-Conn), longtime congressman for the 3rd District of Connecticut.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Nov. 17 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Barnabas Church. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery.
