09/09/2014 12:00 AMKenneth R. Price, 51, of East Haven, entered into rest Sept. 6 after a long, courageous battle with carcinoid cancer. He was the beloved husband of Darlene Schnieder-Price. He was born Oct. 23, 1962, son of George (Monica) Price and Diane Malley Dudley.
He also leaves step-children David P. (Allison) Celano, Dana (Izzy) Morales, and Dianna (Jack) Mariconde; brothers Raymond (Candace) Ravis, Jason (Claire), George, II (Marie), and Michael (Kim) Price; mother-in-law June Schnieder; brother-in-law Howard (Cathy) Schnieder; step-grandchildren Allie Gerena, Nathan, Jacob, and Kaitlyn Morales, and Valentina and Jack Mariconde, II; and many nieces, nephews, and faithful pets. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Felix Schnieder, uncles William and Albert Price, and nephew Michael Price, Jr.
He served in the U.S. Navy stationed in Honolulu and loved the Dolphins, Mets, and traveling to Las Vegas and Hawaii. Ken was a very special person who will be missed by all.
Friends may call at Maresca & Sons Funeral Home, 592 Chapel St., New Haven, Sept. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m., and are invited to go directly to St. Vincent de Paul Church for a Mass of Christian burial Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
