06/06/2014 12:00 AMAnthony Castellon, 82, of Branford, husband of the late Mary Bletchman Castellon, died June 6 at the Smilow Cancer Center, New Haven. Mr. Castellon was born January 17, 1932, in East Haven, son of the late Henry and Mary Tuscano Castellon.
He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an owner of, and baker for, Castellon’s Bakery in Branford for many years, until retiring in 1998. He was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Branford and was an avid antique car collector. He enjoyed playing the piano and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his son Anthony Castellon of Branford, and his brother Henry Castellon of Branford. He was predeceased by his brothers Ralph, Vincent, Charles, and Philip Castellon.
The funeral procession will leave from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, June 9 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
