05/09/2014 12:00 AMJune M. Niles, 92, of Madison, formerly of Clinton, passed away peacefully at home on May 5 with her “Angel” Cindy by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Everett R. Niles. June was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 11, 1921, daughter of the late Armond C. and Emma E. (Miller) Guden.
She eventually settled in Clinton to raise her family and lived in Clinton until 2006, when she moved to Madison to live with her daughter Cynthia Spencer and husband Douglas for her last eight years. She was a homemaker for her 12 children and worked for the Clinton schools as an assistant cook for many years. She loved Bingo with her friends and camping with her family. She will be dearly missed by her beloved family.
She is survived by Carol and husband Niel Riess of Florida; Elizabeth and husband Edwin Spencer of Florida; Andrea and husband David Hull of Deep River; Violet and husband John Barnes of Clinton; Charles and wife Susan Niles of Rhode Island; Cynthia and husband Douglas Spencer of Madison; Edward and wife Rondi Niles of Florida; Peter Niles and June Bizzario of Florida; April and husband Brian Simpkins of Madison; and Lori O’Sullivan of Madison. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Diane Niles of Ivoryton, and 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Florence Forbes and her son Everett Niles, Jr., as well as two grandchildren, Joseph Paul Niles, and Sabrina Sypher, and two sons-in-law, Richard Baker and Donald O’Sullivan.
