Naomi Griffin Foley, 82, Clinton
Naomi Griffin Foley, 82, of Clinton, beloved wife of James E. Foley, Sr., died peacefully on April 28. She was born on April 27, 1932, to the late Winfred Raymond Griffin, Sr., and Jenny Watrous Griffin and was a life-long Clinton resident. Her infectious smile and laugh, kind heart, and beautiful blue eyes shall be remembered always.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children James E. Foley, Jr. (Toni) of New York, Bruce C. Foley (Kathy) of Pennsylvania, and Janice Foley Lane (Chuck) of Branford; and her grandchildren Seamus, Shane, Griffin, Sarah, Colin, Luke, and Britney. She is also survived by her sisters Betty G. Meyer of Higganum and Barbara G. Bronke of Chula Vista, California, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters Doris G. Kelsey and Emily G. Slye, and her brothers Winfred R. Griffin, Jr., Harry E. Griffin, Charles F. Griffin, Roger D. Griffin, and Carl W. Griffin.
